Myrtle Beach Varsity Seahawks got out to a 4-run lead in the third inning and held on for a 5-4 victory over Socastee on Monday. Socastee closed the gap by scoring on a ground out, an error, and a double.
Socastee were the first to get on the board in the first when Cook scored after tagging up.
