Myrtle Beach Varsity Seahawks built a 4-run lead in the third inning and then held off Socastee's charge for a 5-4 victory on Wednesday. Socastee closed the gap by scoring on a single, a solo home run, and a double.
Socastee opened the scoring in the second after Baker drew a walk, scoring one run.
