The Myrtle Beach High School boys’ varsity volleyball team continued its strong start to the season with a 3–0 road victory over regional opponent South Florence. The Seahawks produced 36 kills, eight aces, and four blocks as a team to improve their record to 2–0. Senior Tate Siegmund earned Game MVP honors after an outstanding all-around performance. He led the Seahawks with 12 kills on 15 attempts, recorded an impressive .800 hitting percentage, and added two blocks. Tristan Queener provided strong defensive play with several important digs and contributed consistent serving throughout the match. Jonah Berrios delivered another impressive performance from the outside, finishing with eight kills, a .471 hitting percentage, and two service aces.
