After a slow start and dropping the opening set, the Myrtle Beach boys volleyball team responded with determination, winning the next three sets to defeat Conway 3–1. Game MVP Wesley McMakin sparked the comeback with timely spikes and key blocks. Ashton Barnett delivered consistent hitting, strong serving and excellent defense, adding to his team-leading eight aces and 19 digs this season. Setter Will DeZwaan directed a balanced Seahawks attack with excellent sets and strong all-around play; he now has 97 assists and seven aces through three matches. The Seahawks are undefeated at 3–0 in region play and travel to St. James for a major matchup Thursday night. Come out and support our Seahawks!
