The Myrtle Beach Seahawks and St. James Sharks delivered an exciting, back-and-forth match Thursday night, with both teams displaying tremendous effort and competitive spirit. The Seahawks battled until the final point, but the Sharks made the decisive plays late to secure the victory. Several Seahawks turned in outstanding performances. Tate Siegmund provided a strong presence at the net, recording eighteen kills and two blocks challenging the St. James attack throughout the match. Brock Port anchored the defense with an impressive 26 digs and 14 receptions. Will DeZwaan directed the offense with 42 assists, consistently creating scoring opportunities for his teammates. Although the result did not go Myrtle Beach’s way, the Seahawks showed resilience, teamwork, and determination against a talented St. James squad. Both programs should be proud of the effort and sportsmanship displayed in a hard-fought match.
